Adelicia Nerios

Adelicia Nerios, age 81, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Progressive Healthcare Nursing Home. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on August 11, 1936 to the late Emeterio and Ramona Flores. In 1966, Adelicia and her late husband, Candelario, moved to Sheboygan. In 1974, she started working at Sunnyridge Nursing Home as a cook. She enjoyed family time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook when her family was around. Adelicia's specialty was huevos rancheros. She was very religious and close to the church.

Adelicia is survived by her husband, Pedro Nerios, 6 children: Candelario (Sandie) Martinez, Ricardo (Diane) Martinez, Armando (San Juana) Martinez, Ana (Ruben) Ramos, Ruven Martinez and Reynaldo Martinez; 20 grandchildren: Candace, Trina, Lisa, Jennifer, Ricky, Robert, Ismael, Armando Jr., Joel, Carlos, Gracie, Corinne, Corinna, Tania, Joshua, Emily, Derae, Natasha, Anthony and Miles. Further survived by 41 Great-Grandchildren and 3 siblings.

Adelicia was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Candelario Martinez, 5 siblings and 1 great-granddaughter, Marina Isabel Martinez.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St, Sheboygan, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 7 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at Progressive Healthcare Nursing Home for their compassionate care of Adelicia.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
