Our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Adella Kautzer, passed away on December 26, 2014. Adella was born in Sheboygan on April 13, 1927 to Adam and Anna Regutis. She attended Sheboygan area schools and on August 30, 1945 she married Edward Kautzer, Sr. Together they had ten children. She lovingly devoted herself to her children and grandchildren, teaching them the value of love and laughter with the simplest of life's treasures. She was the strength of her large family, caring for all in many ways. She leaves us with the fondest memories of a truly remarkable woman. She enjoyed listening to polka music, and loved to dance. She cherished her relationship with her sister, Agnes. Adella is survived by eight children, Nancy (Phillip) Black, Frank (Linda) Kautzer, Joanne Greene, Edward Kautzer, Jr., Janice Theobald, Patricia (Glenn) Skrube, Mark Kautzer and Kathleen Kautzer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Adam and one sister, Agnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, an infant son, Richard, her son, Frederick, five sisters and five brothers. "A limb has fallen from the family tree, that says grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, the good life I lived while I was strong." You will forever be in our hearts. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital for the special care they gave our mother. Private family services will be held.
