Alan Sell

Alan Richard Sell, 60, of Lisle, Illinois passed away on March 18, 2016. Alan was born on November 12, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Neil Arndt and Rita Boretsky. Alan was a devoted alumnus to NIU in DeKalb, IL, where he earned his B.S. Ed. Alan also held an M.S.B.A. and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. Alan was a C.P.A., and enjoyed volunteering with the Fox Valley C.P.A. Society and as a tax preparer for the American Association of Retired Persons.
Ala was a loving and devoted spouse of 36 years to Roberta M. Sell; a fond sibling to Roger, Michelle and the late Patricia; a cherished brother-in-law to Ella (nee Sell) and Steve Straka; a dear uncle to Eugenia (and Arkady Grenader), Lydia (Preuser), Ana, Paul and Charlie Straka; a proud great uncle to Olyvia and Casey Jr. Preuser and Andrew Grenader.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 30th at the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (310 Bluff Avenue, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Julia Hollister officiating. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
