Alexia Altmann

Alexia R. Altmann, age 72, passed away, Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Nicholas Hospital. She was born February, 3, 1941 in Sheboygan to parents Alex F. and Eugenia T. (Cizauskas) Skeris. Alexia graduated from Central High School in 1959. She attended St Mary's School of Nursing, University of Wisconsin - Sheboygan and Milwaukee. She married Neal L. Altmann on February 3, 1968 at Immaculate Conception Church, Sheboygan. Alexia was active in the Cub Scouts, attaining the Wood Badge Leadership Training. She was also active in the Pigeon River PTA, and enjoyed bowling, card clubs and family. Alexia worked at North Bowl for over 20 years. Alexia is survived by two sons; Kyle N. (Katie) Altmann and Colin A. Altmann. Four grandchildren; Andrew, Anna, Benjamin and Daniel Altmann. Two brothers; Rev. Robert A. Skeris, and Peter J. Skeris, one sister; Catherine C. Skeris. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband, brothers; Eugene F., Philip J. Skeris, and sister; Barbara A. Elmer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26 at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ), from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM followed by a Rosary Service. Continued visitation on Friday, September 27, from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (807 Superior St., Sheboygan). Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Fr. Robert A. Skeris presiding. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
