Allen Kevin Klug, 52, found peace on Monday, December 23, 2013, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Allen was born in Sheboygan on October 8, 1961 to Roger and Betty (Kohls) Klug. He attended Sheboygan North high School, graduating in 1980. Allen was a truck driver for 11 years. He visited 48 states during his time over the road. He was most recently employed at Nemschoff Chairs in Sheboygan as a receiving clerk. On May 8th, 1997, Allen and Sherri (Young) were married in Las Vegas, NV. Allen was very proud of his two children, Brandon and Aaron. He loved listening to Brandon play his keyboard and going to football games at the High School in Kiel where Brandon played the sousaphone in the marching band. He also loved going to Aaron's baseball games in School Hill and football games at the Middle School in Kiel. Allen enjoyed watching sports on TV with Aaron. He was a NASCAR fanatic. His favorite driver was Matt Kenseth. He loved football and baseball. The Packers and the Brewers were his favorite teams. He also enjoyed collecting STUFF. It didn't matter what it was, if he liked it or thought we could use it, he would bring it home. Allen is survived by his wife Sherri; two sons, Brandon and Aaron; one sister, Jean (Richard) Sprengel, two brothers, Carey Klug (fiancée Debra Wilke) and Lee (Doreen) Fluekiger. One brother-in-law, Daniel Young; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Dirks and Vicki (Scott) Schlafke; father-in-law, Bernard Young; mother-in-law, Virginia Weber. He is further survived by five nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Also loved by other relatives and friends and his beloved "brown dog" Reno. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother-in-law; Brian Young. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 27, at 7:00pm at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove). Gathering at the Funeral Home from 5:00pm until the time of service. The family would like to give a special thank you to Doctor Haid and all of the nurses and staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Sheboygan. And to our special angels; Debbie Gray and Liz Bastasic. Also to the nurses and staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. You have helped all of us so much on our journey. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center or the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
