Allen McGlade

Allen E. McGlade, age 78, of Sheboygan Falls, died unexpectedly on Friday May 17. 2013 for complications of COPD. He was born in Brill, WI on September 4, 1934, a son of the late Michael and Eva (Coleman) McGlade. Allen attended Brill elementary school and Rice Lake High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On December 19, 1959, Allen was united in marriage with the former Geraldine "Geri" Kern in Pine City, MN. The couple moved from Barron County, WI to Sheboygan Falls in 1965. Allen had been employed at the Sheboygan Falls Coop later retiring as a field supervisor for the Public Works department of Sheboygan Falls after 27 years. After retirement, Allen was a bus driver for Heidenreiter Bus Company. Surviving Allen is his wife, Geri (Kern) McGlade and his son, Scott (Lori) McGlade of Sheboygan Falls, Russell (Collette) McGlade of Missouri. In addition to his parents, Allen was also preced in death by his brothers Lyle (Arlene), Keith (Enid), Roland (Alfreda), and a sister Betty (Alois) Lapcinski. In accordance to Allen's wishes, there will be no services.
