Allen Redensek

Allen John Redensek, 55, of Sheboygan, tragically passed away on July 31, 2013 as the result of a bicycle accident. He was born on June 17, 1958 in Sheboygan to Victor and Eileen (Ziegler) Redensek. He attended Cooper Elementary and graduated from North High School in 1978. He worked as a CNC operator at Thomas Industries for over 30 years. He currently was employed at the Kohler Company. As a young boy, Al was diagnosed with Perthes' disease. With the guidance of a close neighbor, Dr. John Reinemann, he was quickly diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon and had a full recovery. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycles, hunting and photography and target shooting with his dad. He took a once in a lifetime trip to Montana and bagged himself an elk which was the highlight of his hunting career. He was baptized, received his first communion and was confirmed at St. Dominic Catholic Church. He is survived by his mother, Eileen Redensek of Pine Haven, Sheboygan Falls and three sisters, Katherine (Bruce) Kunert, Sheboygan, Patricia (Steven) Schmidt, Sheboygan and Helen (Cameron) Kath, Sheboygan Falls, eight nieces and nephews, Amy Kunert, San Francisco, CA, Paul Kunert, Sheboygan, Nicole (Kevin) Sargent, Sheboygan, Ryan (Anna) Schmidt, West Allis, Holly (Ryan) Keenan, Plymouth, Curt Schmidt, Madison and Morgan and Courtney Kath, Sheboygan Falls, four great-nieces and two great-nephews, Trevor Korkko, Natalie and Carlie Sargent, Ava and Nora Schmidt and Egan Keenan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. Allen was preceded in death by his father, Victor Redensek, grandparents, John and Mary Redensek, John and Marie Wagner, Godparents, Gerald and Carol Ziegler and aunts Olga Cvetan and Bernice Valand. He was also preceded by his brown lab, Brandy. Al will be remembered for his loving and caring heart and for the love of his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at St. Dominic Catholic Church (2133 N. 22nd Street, Sheboygan) at 4:00 p.m. with Father Daniel Lasecki officiating. Friends may call on Sunday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. A private family burial will be held at Greendale Cemetery. The family would like to thank the first responders and the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department for their care and compassion for our loved one. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Al's name.
