Amy Brown

Amy Beth (Kiehl) Brown age 55 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 12, 1961 in Sheboygan, WI to Elmer and Carol Kiehl. Amy graduated from Sheboygan South High School, class of 1979 and later graduated from the University of Madison with a bachelor's degree in education. Her passion in helping other's attracted her to the greater Milwaukee area where she worked for Milwaukee Public Schools, retiring in 2015. She was united in marriage to David Brown on July 9, 2004 in Milwaukee. Amy will be remembered dearly by her artistic talents and generosity, gifting many cross-stitched crafts to her family and friends. Her love of basset hounds was known by many. Amy is survived by her beloved husband, David Brown; devoted sister, Laurie (Arnold) Deus of Coeur D' Alene, ID; dear niece, Erin (Gregory) Yeck also of Couer D' Alene, ID; cherished parents-in-law, Walter and Veronica Brown; loving sister-in-law, Peggy (Craig) Leonhardt of Milwaukee; dear God-daughter, Morgan Leonhardt; and her dear uncle, Arthur (Mary) Kiehl of Sheboygan. She is further survived by many other loved relatives and friends. Amy is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her parents, Carol and Elmer Kiehl. Memorial services for Amy will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan.) Her family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 NOON-1:00 p.m.
