Andrew Sandman

Andy J. Sandman, 43, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1972 to Robert and Carrie (Oldenburg) Sandman in Sheboygan. Andy graduated from Sheboygan South High School, he then went on to graduate from UW LaCrosse and he received his Masters Degree from Marion University. He was employed as a supervisor at Nemak. Andy enjoyed playing in and officiating ice hockey games. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Andy also enjoyed water skiing and motor cross sports, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children. Andy is survived by his children Beau and Elysia Sandman, by his grandmother Marion Oldenburg, by his parents Robert and Carrie Sandman, by siblings; Melissa (Chad) McKeen of Spirit Lake, IA, Sarah (Brandon) Irish of Sioux City, IA, and Ryan (Jessica Lueders) Sandman of Spirit Lake, IA, by his nieces and nephews; Cassie and Sullie McKeen, Marlo and Spencer Irish, and Logan and Liam Sandman, by aunts and uncles; George (Sharon) Richards, Deanna Benzschawel, Sherry (Dennis) Tollefson, Steve (Donna) Sandman, Pat (Eugene) Biederwolf, and Sam (Mary) Frantz, also by many cousins, other relatives and friends. Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Arthur Oldenburg, and Robert and Mildred Sandman. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Andy's name. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Ballhorn Chapels 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the FUNERAL HOME.
