Anthony (Tony) Vincent Russo, age 52, passed away on Friday, May 21st in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. There are no words to describe the devasting loss and emptiness we all feel losing our amazing brother, father, son, uncle and friend.
Tony was born on March 10, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Vincent Peter Russo and Susan (nee Eckrich | Filter) Russo. Tony had two loving two sisters, Amy (nee Iwanowski) Russo and Katie (nee Sichterman | Schilling) Russo along with two nieces Miah & Cassidy and a nephew Peter Vincent. Tony married Lisa McGrew in 1989, mother of Tony Jr. Tony had two children, Anthony (Vincent) Russo II and Jade Russo and was a loving grandfather to Casmir (2). A special call out to Tony’s loving girlfriend Melissa Parrish who loved and cared for Tony and our family. Melissa truly made a difference in his life. They enjoyed music, camping, skiing and shared an adventurous life and love together. Tony was also survived by wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tony was a simple man with the most amazing mind. At a very young age he worked tirelessly taking things apart and then putting them back together. He mastered the rubrics cube like no other. He was born for greatness and lived his life each day that way. He was a perfect son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Tony worked hard his entire life and spoke fondly of his last job at Sadoff Iron & Metal. Calling his colleagues his brothers and sisters. Tony was loved by all, a true legend in Sheboygan, WI. He had a wonderful group of friends that surrounded him with love. Those closest to Tony very quickly understood his greatest loves besides his family were music, concerts, and his beloved Harley Davidson. Oftentimes, with his son Tony by his side, friends would share stories of life at two of his favorite local bars in Sheboygan, Sly’s & Big Mike’s while sharing a beer.
The family will open visitation for friends on Sunday, June 13th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. A private family memorial will take place prior to the friend’s visitation.
