Audrey Ann (Adams) Kruger, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on February 27, 2025, in Sheboygan, WI.
Audrey was born on March 20, 1932, in Plymouth, WI. to the late Margaret (Scribner) and Arthur Adams.
She attended school in Plymouth, WI before meeting James (Jim) W. Kruger. During her educational years, Audrey was involved in many different clubs and was especially proud of being part of the Internal Order of Job’s Daughters. Jim and Audrey were married in 1951 and resided in Sheboygan.
Audrey continued her service by leading Brownie and Girl Scout troops and being the Girl Scout Cookie chair for both of her daughters. Audrey could always be counted on for help with school and extracurricular activities and was often the “go to” for rides to and from for her girls and their friends. After her daughters were off to college, Audrey enjoyed her work as a Demo Lady at the local stores for numerous food products, where she engaged with many friends, new and old.

Audrey was the committee chair for the Kitchen Funeral committee, where she was deemed the “Queen of the Kitchen”. Ministries of hospitality, service and care were her passion.
Another passion for Audrey was her involvement with the Friends of the Mead Public Library where she served as Board Vice President and President, volunteered at the Bookstore, The Gift of Reading Program and received the Mead Public Library Service Award.
Audrey, alongside her husband, enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of their labors, playing bridge, and supporting and attending events held by the Sheboygan West Rotary Club, where her husband was a founding member. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Audrey is survived by her 2 daughters along with son-in laws, 4 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters: Margaret “Peggy” (Christopher) Crager and their daughter Carly of the Town of Harrison, WI. and Karen (Roger “Chip”) Whitman and their children, Drew of Crystal Lake, IL., Lauren (Jack Storry) of Chicago, IL., Ryan (Casey) Fox and daughters, Chloe and Caitlin, of Overland Park, KS.
