Barbara Lindsley

Barbara Ann Lindsley, 55, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, at her home. Barb was born February 3, 1961 in Sheboygan to Eugene W. and Hazel L. (Hensley) Lindsley. She graduated from South High School with the class of 1979. She then went on to receive her nursing degree from UW Oshkosh. After graduating Barb went to work at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, she then moved to FL and work as a surgical nurse for several years, before returning to Sheboygan. Barb was a nurse at both St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan and at St. Mary's Hospital in Grafton. She loved animals especially cats, and spent her spare time volunteering at the Sheboygan Humane Society. If she wasn't working or volunteering you could find her painting Christmas villages to stay busy.
Barbara is survived by her mother Hazel L. Lindsley of Sheboygan, brothers; David (Beverly) Lindsley of Sheboygan, Robert (Rogalyn) Lindsley of Madison, and Gary Lindsley of Sheboygan, and by her nieces and nephews; Michael (Alicia) Lindsley, Stefanie Lindsley, Jennifer Lindsley and Scott Lindsley. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene.
Inurnment will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee at a later date.
