Barbara Louise Pietenpol, age 82, of Sheboygan Falls, went home to her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, September 25, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Barbara was born August 28, 1932 in Plymouth to Lawrence and Clara (Kaestner) TeSelle. She was a graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School, Class of 1950 and Sheboygan Business College in 1951. On September 13, 1952 Barbara and William Pietenpol were united in marriage at Sheboygan Falls Methodist Church. For a number of years Barbara was employed as a legal secretary for Attorney Michael J. Vowinkle. Barbara had a strong Christian faith in her Lord. For over fifty years she served as organist and pianist at the churches to which she belonged. Barbara was a faithful member of First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls where she was a member of the church choir. She enjoyed music, gardening, flowers, but especially time spent with her family. She and Bill enjoyed motorcycle trips with their friends, Woody and LaVerne and Shorty and Dorothy. Barb greatly enjoyed her monthly get-togethers with the ladies of "The Club" for over sixty years. In addition to her loving husband, William she is survived by four children, David (Diane) Pietenpol of Green Bay, Richard (Diann) Pietenpol of Sheboygan, Catherine Thiessen of Sheboygan Falls, and Robert (Lorre) Pietenpol of Germantown, WI; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence (Betty) TeSelle of Seattle, WA; one sister-in-law, Muriel TeSelle; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry TeSelle. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church,527 Giddings Ave. Sheboygan Falls. Rev. Brad Veenendaal, Pastor, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for the music department at First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. Barb will be remembered for her great sense of humor and quick wit - even to the end.
