Barbara Ravenscraft

Barbara "Oma" Ravenscraft, age 88, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Meadowview Manor. Barbara was born May 11, 1926 in Bamberg Germany to parents Andreas and Katharina (Kleinlein) Loeffler. She obtained her citizenship in 1959 and later moved to Wisconsin where she reunited with her good friend Marie Charling until her passing. Barbara was employed at Kohler Company generator plant in 1966 where she worked for 22 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara kept herself busy by shopping, completing crossword puzzles, cooking German dishes, tending to her flowers and the companionship of her dog Max. Barbara is survived by daughter, Gina (Tom) Place, grandchildren RJ (Lindsey) Immig, Karly Immig and Hailey Place. Various family still living in Germany. Preceded in death her parents, her sister and two brothers. Visitation will be held at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th Street, on Friday, September 5, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Memorial Service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Greg Whelton presiding. Private inurnment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
