Betty Jean Carpenter

Betty Jean Carpenter, age 78, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

She was born in Sheboygan on July 1, 1946, to the late Anton and Carol (Young) Schinabeck. She graduated from North High School in 1964. On July 27, 1968, Betty was united in marriage to William Carpenter at St. Dominic Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member. In her younger years, Betty worked at Rex Theatre and the Sheboygan Theatre and also at Luedkes Food Market. She most recently was employed at Pick N Save, retiring in 2010.

Betty enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was loved all of her animals with her dog, Misty being close to her heart. She loved making many memories with Bill and their son, Troy, with attending Brewers games being the most treasured memories. They would also frequent Bucks games and Packers games as well. She will be deeply missed.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Bill; son, Troy Carpenter; siblings, Mike Schinabeck, Mark Schinabeck, Carol (Jim) Arpke, and Ann Metzer; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Following Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Betty’s name.
