Beverly Jean Rios

Beverly Jean Rios, age 76, went home to meet Jesus on December 20, 2024. She was born in Sheboygan on February 9, 1948 to the late Miguel and Mary (Moreno) Rios. She graduated from North High School, and worked as a seamstress following graduation.

Beverly was known for her strength and love for her family. She loved spending time with her family, going out to eat, and playing pool in the local area. She was always available to care for her nieces and nephews, and took great care of her parents when they were sick. She fought her own illnesses with admirable strength and resilience. Beverly will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beverly is survived by her sisters Rose (John) Schoenemann, Gloria Ziegelbauer (Jeff Brazelton), Alice (Gary) Trumm, and Dolores Comins, and her brothers Mike (Janelle) Rios and Rick (Julie) Rios. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews Angela (Matt) Bohn, Melissa (Todd) Bertschy, Roger Lawrence, Michelle (Shane) Lawrence, Michael (Heather) Lawrence, Trish (Travis) Siebert, Lee (Karly) Rios, Stephanie (Christopher) Tourtellott, David Rios, Reed Rios, and James Comins, and her great nieces and nephews Carsten and Scarlett Tourtellott, and Amber and Justin L.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Jay Comins. 

A memorial service to honor Beverly’s life will be held at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N 8th St. Sheboygan, on January 3, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Shores, and Sheboygan Health Services, as well as Dr. Gustafson and his staff, for the care and concern they had for Beverly and her family.
