Brian Stemper

Brian A. Stemper, age 65, of Sheboygan, died Thursday morning, February 26, 2015 at his home. He was born January 15, 1950 in Sheboygan to Myron and Eileen (Hanke) Stemper. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Grade School and was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1969. He was previously married to Cassie Wals who preceded him in death in November of 1998. For forty years Brian was employed at Kohler Co., retiring as a foreman in the pottery department. Brian loved walleye and muskie fishing with his friends and family in Manitowish Waters in northern Wisconsin. He also enjoyed photographing nature, snowmobiling, and spending great times with his family at Boulder Lake. Brian is survived by his daughter, Sarah Stemper of Sheboygan; his sister, Cindy (Tom) Buteyn of Michigan; his brothers, Mike (Andrea) Stemper of Sheboygan, Kenneth Stemper of Pickerel Lake, WI, and David (Naomi) Stemper of White Lake, WI; his uncle, Wally (Ann) Stemper of New Holstein; his cousins, Daniel Stemper and Bobby Stemper; his sister-in-law, Dorothea Martin; and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Bruce Stemper, and his sisters-in-law, Carol Stemper and Lola Stemper. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Deacon Donald Lydolph will be the officiant. A time of visitation and support will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
