Charles Carriveau

April 23, 1933 — October 27, 2017

Charles "The Sage" Carriveau passed away peacefully on October 27, 2017 surrounded by loving family. He was an avid golfer who loved the privacy of the 3rd nine at Town and Country. His baking skills were extraordinary, especially his breads. He also loved to cook on his weber. He enjoyed visiting family in New England and fishing at Forest Lake in Maine. He was an enthusiastic camper with family and friends. Despite not finishing high school, he was full of knowledge and wisdom. He was supportive of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in any endeavor. His magnetic personality drew in people of all ages. His sense of humor, wit and charm were undeniable. He was an awesome guy.

Charles is survived by his 4 children: Richard Carriveau, Alan (Debra) Carriveau, Suzanne (George) Kelley, and Ann (Paul) Scherer; 5 grandchildren: Andrea (Marc) Hansen, Matthew (Liz) Kelley, Kristin (Nick) Graves, Emily Scherer, and James Scherer. Further survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Amelia and Ruby Hansen, Madelyn and Henry Graves, and Maxon Kelley, and 2 brothers, Delmar (Laura) Carriveau and Wayne (Phyllis) Carriveau.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maryann, and his son, Ronald Carriveau.

A Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 6 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
