(nee Berg), age 85, of Howards Grove, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her home. She was born on October 11, 1928, a daughter of Benjamin and Norma (Zastrow) Berg. On September 21, 1946, Charmaine married Alfred M. Baumann and together they raised nine children. The couple lived in Black River until moving to Howards Grove in 1953. As a homemaker, Charmaine enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers and she probably canned enough pickles to supply a small third world country. They were great! Charmaine was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Howards Grove. She is survived by her nine children: Three sons: Alfred (Charleen) Baumann of Kiel, Michael (Joy) Baumann of Howards Grove, Brian Baumann (special friend Theresa) of Howards Grove. Six daughters: Lynn (Thomas) Fiedler of Cleveland, Cheryl (Jack) Wilhite of Sheboygan, Lou Ann (Richard) Sebald of Howards Grove, Colleen (Bobby) Hemphill of Sheboygan Falls, Patty (Wayne) Stuckmann of Howards Grove, and Justine (Paul) Dekanich of Sheboygan. Charmaine is also survived by 20 grand- children, 18 great grand-children, and 2 great-great grand-children. Her brothers surviving her are Charles Berg of Sheboygan, Daniel (Pat) Berg of Sheboygan, and Clifford (Karen) Berg of Sheboygan Falls. She also has one sister to survive her, Phyllis (Donald ) Mueller of Sheboygan, and many nieces and nephews. Charmaine was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Baumann, her parents, her brother Benjamin Berg Jr. and his wife Kathy, a sister Carol Pieper and husband Elmer, a sister Betty Behrens, and husband John, and a sister-in-law, LaVerne Berg. Visitation for Charmaine will be at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. (Hwy 42 & JJ) on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, at which time a service will be held at the funeral home. Pastor Darrel Bergelin presiding. Burial to follow at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Charmaine's name with the Trinity Lutheran Church of Howards Grove. Charmaine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at the Sharon Richardson Hospice Center for all of their help and support with her cares.
