Cheryl Herzog

Cheryl A. Herzog, age 57, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family, following a three year battle with cancer. She was born July 4, 1956 to parents Robert and Mary Herzog (Leahy). Cheryl graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1974 and completed a degree in graphic arts at Lakeshore Technical College. She worked at Sheboygan Sausage until 1991 and then at Kohler Company in the artist edition department until her retirement in October 2013. She enjoyed gardening, spending time outside, traveling and time with her family and her beloved cats. Cheryl married Alan Mitchell June 30, 2005 at St. Clements Parish in Sheboygan. Cheryl is survived by her husband Alan, mother Mary Herzog, brother Greg (Connie) Herzog, sister Kris (Dale) Fetterer, two nieces, Nicole (Aaron) Daane and River Fetterer, two great-nephews, Mason and Calvin Daane. Three step-daughters; Jennifer Mitchell, Sarah Mitchell and Alyson (J.C.) Sandstrom. Also loved by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her father Robert Herzog. There will be no formal funeral services per her request. Memorials in her name can be given to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
