Clarissa Lohse

May 23, 1964 — December 16, 2014

Clarissa "Carey" R. Lohse, 50, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 surrounded by her family. Carey was born May 23, 1964 in Sheboygan to Norman and Barbara (Neisius) Moreland. She attended Sheboygan area grade schools and attended Sheboygan South High School. Carey was employed at Dick's Northwest BP, formerly known as Dick's Northwest Amoco, for about ten years. She then furthered her employment with Trilling True Value Hardware for about two years. On August 7, 1993 Tim Lohse and Clarissa Moreland were united in marriage. Carey enjoyed playing with her pet pig, Herbie, and canine companion, Fudge, reading, and playing board games and computer games. In addition to her husband, Tim, Carey is survived by her son, Samuel J. Lohse; her mother, Barbara Moreland; her sister, Kristine (Scott) Killnas; her brother, John Moreland; a niece, Barbie Killnas; three nephews, D.J. Killnas, Christopher Killnas, and Zachery Moreland; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Moreland. A celebration of Carey's life will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road, Sheboygan. Rev. Gregory S. Whelton, pastor of St. John's U.C.C. will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Monday from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Carey's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Sheboygan Paramedics and the staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center ER for the care and compassion shown to her and the family.
