Delores Zimmermann

Delores A. Zimmermann, 81, of Sheboygan, was called to Heaven, on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home. Delores was born October 12, 1934 in Sheboygan to Edward and Mary (Savinshek) Schultz. She attended Holy Name School. On October 13, 1953 she was united in marriage to Norman Zimmermann of Sheboygan at Holy Name Parish. Delores was a homemaker. In her younger years she loved to dance and go to the movies. As she got older it changed to Bingo and listening to music, and playing cards with her sisters. She also loved dogs. Delores is survived by three children: Dave (Paula) Zimmermann, Noreen Beeman, and Lorie Zimmermann all of Sheboygan, by two grandchildren Patrick Beeman and Jennifer Leavit, by six sisters: Rose Marie Moore, of CA, Helen Rusch of Sheboygan, Vera (Randall) Williams of FL, Patsy Wolff of Sheboygan, Mary Ann (Otto) Denk of Sheboygan, and Janet (Warren) Weiskopf of Sheboygan Falls, also by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, a great-grandson, and three brothers-in-law: Ed Moore, Hank Rusch, and Roger Wolff. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral Cremation Care Center 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Fr. Dan Lasecki Officiating. Entombment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society. The family would like to express a special Thank you to the Staff at Sunny Ridge for all their care, compassion and support over the years. Mom were going to miss our Thursday Night Beer Dates.
