Denis G. Strode-Jackson, 75, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021.
He was born June 12, 1946, in Sheboygan to the late Denis and Helen (Haviland) Strode-Jackson. Denis attended Grant Elementary School, Urban Middle School and graduated from North High School with the Class of 1964. He then went on to attend UW Stevens Point. On February 14, 2016, he was united in marriage to Connie Frazier in Sheboygan.
In his younger years, Denis worked for the Sheboygan Park’s Department, he was a plumber while in Steven Point, and was also a coin dealer. He then followed his passion and was an Antique Dealer and Appraiser, retiring in 2008.
Denis was a faithful member of First United Lutheran Church. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the Demo lags, the Coin Club since he was nine, and the Civil War Society.
Denis is survived by his wife Connie, brother Haviland “Twig” (Sandy) Strode-Jackson, nephew Stevie (Michelle) Strode-Jackson, two great nephews, stepdaughter Nicole (Matt) D’Imperio, step-grandchildren Taylor and Addison D’Imperio, father-in-law Eugene Frazier, sister-in-law Sue Frazier, and two brothers-in-law Randy Frazier and Jeff (Lynn) Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law Alice Frazier and sister-in-law Linda Frazier.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Pastor Matt Hacker officiating. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on August 31, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME. If you are unable to attend Denis’s service will be livestreamed on his obituary page on the funeral home website.
