Dennis C. Fors

Dennis C. Fors, 84, of Sheboygan, went home to his Lord and Savior on September 21, 2023 at home in the loving arms of his wife. He was born on September 19, 1939 to the late C. Lawrence and May Belle (O’Brian) Fors in Ogilvie, Minnesota. Dennis attended St. Cloud State College where he received a BS in Education. He later attended Northwestern University, Chicago, for his Masters of Art.

Dennis united in marriage to Marlene Krech on August 12, 1961 in South St. Paul, Minnesota.

Dennis worked as an educator in math for 37 years with Sheboygan area schools. His passion of teaching was recognized with his selection of “High School Teacher of the Year”. He was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, where he enjoyed serving in Stephen Ministry and Choir.

He had a passion for volleyball which included playing and coaching. Dennis enjoyed golfing, camping and Sudoku. Above all, he loved and supported his family unconditionally.

Dennis is survived by his wife Marlene; sons Troy and Tait (Vicki) Fors; grandchildren, Payton (Noah) Trimark, Nolan, Shane, Mikayla, Lilly and Caley Fors; his brother Rodney Fors; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Todd Fors, two brothers and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions can be made to Lutheran High, Sheboygan, in Dennis’ memory.

A funeral service for Dennis is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 12:30pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. Friends and family can visit from 11:00am until 12:30pm. He will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery. If you are unable to make the service, it will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s website.
