DiAnne Corcoran

DiAnne K. Corcoran, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was 73 years old.

Born May 23, 1943 in Salamanca, New York, DiAnne was the daughter of George and Helen (nee Sipko) Ledden. She graduated from William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Virginia. A longtime member of the community, DiAnne moved to Sheboygan in 1965. She worked for over 15 years as an administrative assistant at Hydraulic Tools in Sheboygan.

After donating a kidney to her brother in 1976, DiAnne became an advocate for the National Kidney Foundation. She had a sharp wit and a generous nature, and enjoyed assisting her friends and neighbors at the Mapledale apartments. DiAnne was intelligent, had a fiercely competitive spirit, and rarely lost a trivia competition. She loved animals, enjoyed sports, and was an avid follower of tennis. Her hobbies were reading and doing crossword puzzles.

DiAnne is survived by her children: Richard Corcoran of Kyle, TX, Katherine Corcoran (Jose Arruzazabala) of Chicago, IL and Steven (Marnie) Corcoran of Tacoma, WA. She is further survived by her mother Helen Ledden of Roanoke, VA, brother Dennis Ledden of Rancho Murieta, CA, sister Leslee Bollea of Fairfax Station, VA, former husband Dick Corcoran of Georgetown, TX, other relatives, and many friends at the Mapledale apartments. She is preceded in death by her father George and her sister, Lynn Mullikin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th Street in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin or the Sheboygan Humane Society.
