Dolores M. Domann, 96, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home. The former Dolores Stieber was born September 23, 1920 in Kohler, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Braer) Stieber of Kohler. She attended Kohler grade and high school and Sheboygan Business College. On January 3, 1942, she married Technical Sargent Robert A. Behrens of the U.S. Air Force in New York. He died in WWII in New Guinea on December 25, 1944. On September 13, 1942, she gave birth to their son Robert Domann. On August 10, 1946, she married Alton H. Domann at St. John's Parish in Kohler. He died August 7, 1993, three days before their 48th wedding anniversary. Dolores was a life member of St. John's Catholic Church in Kohler. She was a one-time member of D Horseline Women's Club, the treasurer of the Kohler Women's Club. Dolores also volunteered for 10 years in the recovery room of St. Nick's Hospital, and was a cub scout mother in Kohler.
Dolores is survived by her two grandchildren; Jeff (Kirsten) Domann of Madison and Lori Smith of Green Bay. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Robert Domann, daughter-in-law Mary (Beninger) Domann, brothers Donald and Jack Stieber, and brothers-in-law Lyle (Ethel) Miller and Reuban Domann.
Memorials may be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society in Dolores' name.
