Donald "Augie" C. Augustine, 84, of Sheboygan, died peacefully after a long, difficult battle with heart and vascular disease, on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center, while under hospice care. He was born May 7, 1932 in Sheboygan to Frank and Emma (Dittmann) Augustine. Donald's parents died when he was a young child and he was raised by his Uncle and Aunt Arthur and Esther Augustine-Thiel. He was a graduate of Waldo High School and went on to proudly serve in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. On September 29, 1962 he was united in marriage to Jesse Sara Gerber. Donald was a machinist at Bolens FMC for 41 years. He had a strong faith and was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He enjoyed sports and nature, playing on several bowling and golf leagues, and hunting and fishing. Fond memories were made while spending time with family and the Usadel gang up north. He always stayed active being a familiar face as a mall walker, and the highlight of his retirement was coffee time with the guys.
Donald is survived by his wife of 53 years Jesse, two daughters, Lisa (Michael) Krueger of Sheboygan and Cheryl Augustine of Madison, a niece Donna Kaminski, nephew Jeffrey Wiegand, special cousin Alice DeGroff, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his Uncle and Aunt Arthur and Esther Augustine -Thiel, and by his special cousin Adrian Thiel.
In accordance with his wishes a private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church or the Wounded Warriors Charity.
