Donna (Sona) Alice Strysick, 88, died on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Countryside Manor, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Donna was born in Sheboygan on May 11th, 1931, daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Uhl. She grew up attending Sheboygan schools.
Donna had a passion for drawing and painting on anything that could be considered a canvas. Lake Michigan was her favorite landscape and sailboats one of her most frequent subjects.
She enjoyed also fishing, gardening, sewing and spending time with her friends and family.
Donna is survived by her 5 children, Gary (Joann) Strysick, Kathleen (Gary) Leonhardt, Faith (Bruce) Neils, Harve (Kim) Strysick and Chris (Paul) Ruehr; 9 grandchildren, Gary II (Stephanie) Strysick, Christopher (Sarah) Strysick, Jeremiah Strysick, Anne Miech, Lindsay Norris, Charity (Cody) Dulmes, Adam (Selia) Kleine, Brett Ruehr, Craig (Amanda) Ruehr; great grandchildren, Reed, Trey, Alexis, Lillian, Jade, Jack, Alexander, William, Lilliyanne, Zachary, Gwendoyln, Brayden, Aaliyah, Wesley, and Maverick; 2 brothers, Roy Uhl, Leon Uhl, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
It is Donna's wish to have a private celebration of life.
Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her twin son and daughter, Paul & Pauline Strysick, one sister, Julia Barry.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Countryside manor and Sharon S. Richardson, especially to Donna's hospice nurse, Cathy Wenninger.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Donna's name.
