Dorothy Elizabeth Goelzer age 68, passed away at home on Sunday, May 10, 2015. She was born November 28, 1946 in Sheboygan, WI to parents Max and Frances (Tagel) Krolnik. Dorothy attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School and was a 1964 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. She was united in marriage on February 6, 1965 to Gilbert L. Kaat. Dorothy was later united in marriage on April 22, 1976 to James D. Goelzer. Dorothy was employed by Armira Corporation (f/k/a Armour Leather) in Sheboygan, WI and Bolivar, Tennessee. After returning to Sheboygan, Dorothy was employed by Gilson Bros. and Sheboygan County. Dorothy was appointed to the City of Sheboygan Mayor's International Committee, serving for eleven years (1999-2011). She was also a voting poll volunteer for several years and currently delivered Meals on Wheels. Dorothy is survived by her husband Jim; one daughter, Stacy Kaat; one granddaughter, Bella Engleson; one sister Mickey (George) Kaprelian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Frances Krolnik; her brother, Anthony J. Krolnik; aunts and uncles, Ben and Antoinette Skeris, Anton and Margie Tagel and Frank Tagel, and other relatives. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th Street, on Friday, May 15 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Memorial Service at 12 Noon. Memorials in Dorothy's name are appreciated. .
