Dorothy (Dottie) Mc Clure, age 84 of Sheboygan, passed away suddenly on February 12, 2021 at her home.
Born in Beaver, Oregon on May 25, 1936 to William and Frances (Minsinger) Fletcher. She met and married the love of her life; Keith L. Mc Clure and married September 1, 1954 in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Dottie drove school bus in Marinette, Sheboygan, Plymouth, and Sheboygan Falls. She truly loved the children she transported. Dottie also worked several years for the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department as a Cook/Matron. It’s been told that the inmates always knew when she was cooking, because the food had flavor.
She is survived by her five children; Patrick (Christy) Mc Clure, Green Bay, Wisconsin; Kathleen (Eric) Meulemans, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Peggy (Frank) Gordon, Gillett, Wisconsin; Michael (Brenda) Mc Clure, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Colleen (David) Laetsch, Jackson, Wisconsin.
Although, Dottie was proud of all her children, it was her grandchildren that gave her great joy and they include: Shaun Mc Clure, Casey Mc Clure, Meghan (Gordon) Peters, Frank Gordon III, Monica Mc Clure, Riley Laetsch, Caitlin (Mc Clure) Gosnell, Brady Laetsch, Jarred Donlon
Great Grandchildren include: Rowan Mc Clure, Henry Peters, Scarlet Mc Clure, Caroline Peters, Antonio Lussier, Elenore Donlon, Cora Donlon
Also survived by two sisters, Genevieve and Vicki as well as other family and friends which include: Walker and Riley Randall.
Preceded in death by, Husband, Keith Mc Clure; Parents, William and Frances (Minsinger) Fletcher; In-laws, Ira and Helen Mc Clure; Sisters, Frances Ferris, Bethel Steinbruecker and her brother in law, Ira Mc Clure.
Visitation for Dottie will take place on Monday February 15 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center,1201 N 8th Street, Sheboygan. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed at 10:00 AM Friday February 19 at www.ballhornchapels.com Burial will be private.
