Dr. John M. Reinemann, age 83, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born September 15, 1929 in Two Rivers, WI. a son of the late Wilfred and Lorraine (Kenzelberger) Reinemann. John graduated from Kohler High School in 1948. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1956. On June 16, 1956, John was united in marriage with Joan Hug of Kohler. John served his internship at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford Il., serving in the U.S. Army Medical Corp in Frankfurt Germany from 1957 until 1960. He served his residency in Pediatrics at Milwaukee County Hospital from 1961-1963, then joining the Sheboygan Clinic in 1963. John was the second Doctor to practice exclusively in Pediatrics in Sheboygan County. He was associated with the Sheboygan Clinic until retiring in May of 1989. After retirement, John and Joan resided in Ruskin Florida from 1989 until returning to Sheboygan in 2003. While at the Clinic, he served on the executive committee for 13 years. John was a former Vice President of the Sheboygan County Medical Society and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Rosary Council 722. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and former long-time member of St. Dominic Parish. Surviving John is his loving wife of 56 years, Joan, five children; Thomas Wilfred (Sally) Reinemann, Douglas (Mary Kay) Reinemann, Mary (Terry) Rindahl, Peter (Judy) Reinemann and Paul (Amy) Reinemann, fourteen grandchildren; Elizabeth, Amy, Timothy and Lori Rindahl, Joseph, Elise, Rose, Mary, Sarah, Emma, Louis, Isaac, Katie and Ella Reinemann, one great-grandchild, Mason John, one brother, Glenn Reinemann and one sister, Judith Vreeke. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Roger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for John on Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 12 Noon at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Reverend James Connell, will be celebrant. Interment will follow at Kohler Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass. Memorial funds have been established in John's name for Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and Sharon Richardson Community Hospice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Sharon Richardson Community Hospice for the loving care John received. Reflecting on life, John's favorite quote had recently been "It's been quite a trip".
