Duane Benninghaus

Duane A. Benninghaus, 86, of Schleswig, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. Duane was born June 28, 1926 in Sheboygan, to the late Carl and Myrtle (Rosenthal) Benninghaus. He graduated from Central High School. Duane served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a clerk for over 25 years. Duane is survived by two brothers, Richard Benninghaus and William (LuAnn Cleary/Benninghaus) Benninghaus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Ralph and Thomas. In accordance with Duane's wishes, no services will be held. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
