Edith McPherson

Edith McPherson, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Edith was born April 5, 1943, in Sheboygan, to the late Henry and Edith (Rumpff) Hansmann. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1961 and earned her Bachelor's Degree from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In 1967, she married Joseph McPherson. He preceded her in death in 1995. She will be remembered for her passion for cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Joe McPherson; four siblings, Sue, Ed (Fran), Hank (Cindy) and Burt (Janelle) Hansmann; two step-grandchildren, Gabi and Riley Breitenbach.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Danny.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan). Friends may call on Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
