Eleanor Stanish

Eleanor E. Stanish, 96, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Eleanor was born January 23, 1918 in Sheboygan Falls to the late Henry and Mary (Noldmann) Mahler. Eleanor attended Prange Elementary School in Sheboygan Falls and graduated from Howards Grove High School. Survivors include her son, Richard (Janice) Visser, East Moline, IL; three grandchildren, Greg, Gail and Jo Ann; three great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jacob Maxwell and Kaitlyn Worley; two great-great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Karen Visser. She was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Mahler and one sister, Hildegarde Grunewald. A funeral service for Eleanor will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Robert Hamilton officiating. Friends may call on Friday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at the Trinity Cemetery, Howards Grove.
