Heitzmann, Elizabeth E.
Miss Elizabeth Heitzmann, passed away Sunday morning, October 9, 2016 at Sunny Ridge in Sheboygan. She was 86 years old.
Lizzy was born November 15, 1929 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Herman and Agnes Heitzmann. Lizzy worked for RCS for many years, where her favorite day was "pay day", when she was told she needed a wagon to carry her big paycheck home. Lizzy loved to laugh and had a contagious smile that will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lizzy will be greatly missed by her caretaker and best friend of 27 years, Mary Benzschawel of Sheboygan. She is survived by her niece Sandra Fischer of Sheboygan, many nieces and nephews, and other caregivers.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life Harvey Koester, and her siblings: Gertrude Kauger and Walter, William and Herbert Heitzmann.
Per Lizzy's wishes, private services were held. Ballhorn Chapels is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
A special thank you to the staff of Sunny Ridge for their outstanding care and making Lizzy the "Queen of Sunny Ridge".
