Elliott Gebert

Elliott M. Gebert, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Elliott was born August 9, 1941 in Medford to the late Frank and Beatrice (McCarthy) Gebert. He grew up on the family farm in Stetsonville and graduated from Medford High School in 1959. On January 4, 1964, he married the former Donna Mae Graffunder. He was employed by Briggs and Stratton, in Milwaukee, as a machinist for 30 years until his retirement. He then worked part time for the Town of Wilson in the maintenance department. Elliott enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Packers fan. He was kind hearted and enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Todd (Rhonda) Gebert and Timothy (Holly) Gebert; one daughter, Lisa (Douglas) Gaulke; six grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Dorian, Keira, Sydney and Sam; two step-grandchildren; Matt and Samantha; six brothers; two sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lee. A memorial service will be held for Elliott on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Philip Rose officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Elliott's care givers over the last seven years and a special thank you to the staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
