Elverda N. Seehaver

Elverda N. Seehaver, age 77, of Valders, passed away on October 7, 2022, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 1, 1945, in Sheboygan, to the late Henry and Hanna (Roerdink) Grapentine.  She attended local schools and graduated from Central High School.  Elverda worked in hospitality at the American Club in Kohler.  Above all, Elverda took great pride in raising her four beautiful children.  On October 17th, Elverda and Gerald would have been married for 57 wonderful years.  Elverda was also a faithful member of Fountain Park United Methodist Church in Sheboygan where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.  She was active in a variety of church activities including, quilting, bible studies and meal preparations for the church’s potluck dinners.

Elverda enjoyed listening to country music, she was an avid doll collector, working in the garden, and loved spending time with her family.  She was a wonderful mother, a gentle soul, and faithful to her Lord.  Her advice and listening ear will be greatly missed.

She survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Dawn Seehaver, Diane Kaiser, Darrin Seehaver and Duane Seehaver; granddaughter, Crystal Haling; three great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aiden Haling and Adelita Hertel; sisters, Shirlyn Batt, Roseanne (Edward) Bloemers and Henri-Ellen Hartman; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Along with her parents, Elverda was preceded in death by a grandson, TJ Kaiser, maternal and paternal grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Following Elverda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.

A memorial fund has been established in Elverda’s name.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at both Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls for the excellent care and support given to Elverda and her family.
