Evergene Bitter

Evergene L. Bitter, age 87, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born on October 1, 1926 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls to parents Herbert and Edna (Breher) Kaufmann. She attended Monroe grade school. Evergene was united in marriage to Delbert Bitter on June 23, 1945 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in the town of Sheboygan Falls. Delbert preceded her in death on September 14, 2002. Evergene was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts and traveling. Especially enjoying her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Evergene was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. Evergene is survived by five children; Donna (Timothy) Wolf, Kenneth (Susan), Karen (David) Hinze, Dale (Donna) and Daniel (Connie), thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild. Brother-in-law Melvin (Janet) Bitter, sister-in-law Myra Luebke. Preceded in death by parents, brother-in-laws; Milton Bitter and Norman Bitter, sister-in-laws LaVerne and Wilma Bitter. Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church W2776 Hwy 32, Howards Grove on Thursday, February 27 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM, with Rev. Darrel Bergelin.
