Gerald J. Lochman, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday morning, February 20, 2018 at Sunny Ridge. He was 98 years old.
Jerry was born August 31, 1919 in Wausau, the son of Walter and Florence (nee Sturm) Lochman. After school, he served his country in the United States Army during WWII (1941-1945). He worked at Phoenix Chair Company, and later American Chair Company, retiring in 1981. Upon his retirement, he was able to focus more time on his passion for music. For the next 30 years, he played guitar in many bands including the John Brown Band, Leo Airs Band, Marvin Boll Band.
Gerald was united in marriage to Alice Lochman, who preceded him in death on January 25, 1997. On April 15, 2000 he was united in marriage with Magdalene "Mickie" Trott (nee Mayer) at St. John's UCC in Sheboygan.
Jerry was a member of St. John's UCC in Sheboygan, where he was a member of the St. John's Brotherhood.
Jerry is survived by his wife Mickie, sister Dawn Rakow, step-daughter-in-law Carol (Harold) Foster, step-grandchildren: D.J. Bauch, Linda (Sam) Mihyar, Alex (Michelle) Bauch, Shari Lynn (Tom) Groth, Dean Myers and Jay Myers, step-great-grandchildren: Drew Bauch, Sara Fair, Luke Mihyar, Haley Bauch, Spencer Evans, Nathan Evans, Brooke Evans, Jennifer Ferris, Ashley McConeghy, Jason Myers, Michael Myers, step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is further survived by Mickie's family: children: Diane (Gene) Aeschlimann, Kathy Prebil (Greg), Cindi (Jesse) Arnold, Debi (Mike) Taylor, Netty (Jim) Ostwald and Sheri (Steve) Wangsness, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Alice Lochman, son Terry Lochman, sisters Betty Stelp, Dorothy Russh and Elaine Albee and step-children: H.J. Bauch, Beverly Olson, Jim Myers, Jeanie Trott, Dan Trott and Joe Trott.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. John's UCC, 1248 Lincoln Avenue in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 11:30AM - 1:00PM. He will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
