Gloria Sarabia

Our beloved mother, Gloria F. Sarabia, 82 of Sheboygan went to be with our Lord on April 25, 2017. She was born on October 19, 1934 in San Antonio, TX to the late Pedro and Beatriz (Macias) Fuentes. She married Victoriano Sarabia Sr. on December 19, 1948, he preceded her in death on March 13, 1983.
Gloria and Victoriano raised seven children and worked to support their family. Mother worked various jobs and retired from Ametek in 2000. Mother enjoyed treasure hunting, shopping, eating out, watching her novella's, among other activities.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Beatriz Sarabia, Ninfa (Willard) Houseye, and Blanca Salazar, sons Felix (Wanda) Sarabia and Lorenzo (Julie) Sarabia and a daughter-in-law Lola Sarabia. Twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two sisters, Soila and Maria Fuentes, two brothers Florencio and Juan Manual Fuentes.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Guadalupe Merkel, and Consuelo Sarabia and son Victoriano Sarabia Jr. One granddaughter Cristina Margenau and two great grandchildren. Sisters, Ninfa Esparza, Delia Shahan, Anita Ascencion, Estela Castellanos, two brothers, Pedro and Enrique Fuentes.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 9:00am-10:30am at Ballhorn Funeral Chapel & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th Street, Sheboygan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St, Sheboygan, with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Burial will follow at Greendale Cemetery.
