Harold Francis Krieski age 98, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Sheboygan Senior Community Nursing Home. He was born on July 25, 1917 to John and Helen (Lashua) Krieski in Town of Knowlton, WI. He worked as a foreman for the Sheboygan Foundry for 26 years, retiring in 1982. Harold was united in marriage on August 28, 1943 to Delores I. Damrau. Together they were long time members of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, and was an avid Brewers Baseball fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Harold is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Delores; loving children, Allen (Melinda) Krieski of Sheboygan, Bernice (Steve) Burtard of Sheboygan, Larry (Monica) Krieski of Plymouth, Shirley (Leon) Stein of Sheboygan, and Steven Krieski of Sheboygan; cherished grandchildren, Kristin Van Ess, Jennifer (Todd) Schaetzer, Melissa (Scott) Fischer, Andrea Trott, Shane Krieski, Christopher (Stephanie) Stein, Matthew (Alissa) Stein, Mindy Krieski, Joshua Krieski, and Kelly Krieski; cherished great grandchildren, Devon, Ethan, Nicholas, Roberta, Crosby, Lena, and Spencer; and his dear half-sister, Leona Webb of Houston, TX. He is further survived by other loved relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law, Anna and Gustave Damrau; siblings, Eleanore Pendowski, Robert Krieski; his half-siblings, Russell Gordon, Sheldon Gordon, Ralph Gordon, John Gordon and Frank Gordon, Adeline Burr, Minnie Gahagan, Marie Ploeckelman; and siblings-in-law, Arthur Damrau and Herbert Damrau, Esther Musumeci, and Margaret Dassow. A time of gathering and support will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, (917 Mead Ave., Sheboygan) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Marcus Powers officiating. Entombment will take place at the Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler. In memory of Harold, memorial contributions to Our Savior's Lutheran Church are greatly appreciated.
