Hazel Schuette

Hazel "Peggy" Schuette, 92, of Howards Grove, passed away Thursday, June 04, 2015 at Harvest Home Assisted Living. Peggy was born August 28, 1922 in Chilton to the late Trubert and Ethel (Towne) Bancroft. On August 31, 1946, she married Ellsworth H. Schuette in Chilton. Survivors include six children, Richard (special friend, Jean Effa) Schuette, James (Bonnie) Schuette, Mary (Tim) Wagner, Thomas (Carol) Schuette, Karen (Keith) Kaestner and Kathy (fiancé, Mike Schwaller) Schuette; ten grandchildren, Heather (Mark) Zimbal, Matthew (Jamie) Schuette, Aaron (Jennifer) Schuette, CJ (Stephanie) Schuette, Jamie (Steve) Sternard, Ryan Schuette, Abbey Kaestner, Ashley (Matt) Stang, Michael Wehmeier and David (Shawna) Wehmeier; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Hunt; one brother, Harold (Marlene) Bancroft; two sisters-in-law, Violet Schuette and Violetta Schuette. In addition to her parents and husband of 60 years, Ellsworth, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Wagner, two sisters, Helen (Athniel) Jaschob and Bernice (Gerald) Jost, one brother, Roy (Marjorie) Bancroft, three brothers-in-law, Norval Hunt, Kenneth and Adrian Schuette, three sisters-in-law, Helen (James) Lindow, Elaine Bender and Eunice (Jerry) Leahy. A funeral service for Peggy will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mark's United Church of Christ (W1307 Orchard Road, Town Mosel) with the Rev. William Kesting officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, at the church, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Harvest Home Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice. A memorial fund has been established in Peggy's name.
