Henry R. Logas, 87, of Sheboygan, died on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Pine Haven in Sheboygan Falls. Henry was born on April 4, 1929 in Sheboygan to Henry A. and Amanda (Bruder) Logas. He attended St. Peter Claver Grade School and was a 1947 graduate of Central High School. Following high school, Henry went to work for Zimmermann Printing Co. as a Printing Pressman. On April 25, 1951 Henry joined the US Army, he was stationed in Korea and proudly served until he was honorably discharged on January 25, 1953. After proudly serving our country Henry returned to Sheboygan and continued working at Zimmermann Printing Co. until his retirement in 1995. On June 1, 1957 at Holy Name Catholic Church he was united in marriage to the love of his life Betty Kollmeyer.
A member of Immaculate of Conception Catholic Church, Henry had a strong faith and shared that with his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and attending many of their activities. He was so proud of all their achievements. Going for bike rides and playing cards were also ways he kept busy over the years.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Betty, four daughters; Sue (Dave) Ourada of Germantown, Kathy Lakritz of Mequon, Debbie Brozovich of Euless, TX, and Donna (Tom) Schultz of Sheboygan, son Tim (Jennifer) Logas of Carrollton, TX, by eleven grandchildren; Nicole (Nate) Cass, Chris (Mikayla) Ourada, Stephanie Lakritz, Melissa Lakritz, Jennifer Lakritz, Ashley Brozovich, Kyle Brozovich, Adam Schultz, Garrett Schultz, Carson Logas, and Anders Logas, by great-grandson Soren Cass, and other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Logas, his parents, a brother Fred Logas, sisters; Jeanette Straus and Mildred Brager, a granddaughter Erika Schultz, by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Fred and Irene Kollmeyer, and by sister-in law and brother-in-law Fred and Henrietta Kollmeyer, Marion and Henry Ruehr, and brothers-in-law Jerome Straus and Ed Brager.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2720 Henry St. Sheboygan, with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Henry's name will be established.

We thank St. Nicholas Hospital Home Health Care, Tender Hearts and Pine Haven Christian Home for their compassionate care. We truly appreciate the love and support of family and friends, especially our special neighbors Bob and Bonnie Reinemann who have always been there when we needed help.
