Irmgard Doermann

Irmgard Doermann, 93, passed away on August 18, 2021, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Irmgard Doermann was born on January 18, 1928, in Duisburg-Meiderich to Karl Grabowski and Susanna [Kirsch] Grabowski.

Irmgard married Fritz Doermann on June 18, 1948, in Eckardtsheim, Germany. The couple had 3 sons, Jochen (Bonnie) Doermann of DeForrest, WI, Peter (Jill) Doermann of Chippewa Falls, WI and Andy (Barbara) Doermann of Mequon, WI.  Irmgard came to the United States in 1952 along with her husband and eldest son.

Irmgard was best known as an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.

Irmgard is survived by Jochen, Peter and Andy and their wives and Ingelies Bauer – sister.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Irmgard is preceded in death by Karl Grabowski - father, Susanna Grabowski – mother, Herman Grabowski - stepfather and Fritz Doermann – husband.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Lutheran Cemetery Mausoleum at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ethan Tews officiating.
