Jane L. Reseburg, age 91, of Sheboygan, died Saturday morning, September 19, 2015. She was born March 30, 1924 in Sheboygan to August and Clara (Bunke) Johannes. She attended Howards Grove schools. On October 30, 1943 Jane and Raymond Reseburg were united in marriage at Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed Church in Sheboygan. After fifty-seven years of marriage, Ray preceded her in death on July 7, 2001. Jane was a faithful Christian woman, attending of Ebenezer United Church of Christ for 71 years. For many years she was employed at Sheboygan South High School in the cafeteria, retiring in 1986. She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother who loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in every way. Jane lived life to the fullest through it's many challenges, surviving cancer 4 times and a leg amputation at 90 years of age. Those who knew and loved her will always remember her caring, gentle, and strong spirit. Jane enjoyed golfing in the Town & Country Tuesday and Thursday golf league as well as playing bridge with her Monday morning group. She also liked knitting, crocheting, and sewing for her family. But, above all, she was devoted to her family who meant the world to her. She is survived by three daughters, Lynne (Robert) Munro of Sheboygan, Jan (William) Anderson of Lake Villa, IL, and Robin (Robert) Seibel of Cascade, ten grandchildren, Tim (Jenny) DeSombre, Kimberly (Stuart) Long, Stacey (Ken) Andersen, Ryan Anderson, Kristen (Alan) Kositzke, Michelle (Mark) Tepesch, Amy (Jansen) Fraser, Justin Walston, Creed (Witney) Seibel, and Brittiny Seibel; sixteen great-grandchildren, Conner and Chloe DeSombre, Mitchell and Natalee Long, Jacob and Noah Andersen, Vadin, Christian, and Grayson Kositzke, Ethan and Jonah Vickers, Ross, Evan and Boe Fraser, Jasper and Reyelle Seibel; her twin brother, Jim (Arlene) Johannes of Minneapolis, MN; her sister-in-law, Ruth Johannes of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Jane was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Madelyn, Ann, Daryl, Roy, Charles, Warren, and Richard; her grandson, Nash Seibel; and her great-grandson, Casey DeSombre. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. Rev. Dr. Roger J. Mealiff will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank Morningside Nursing Home, Sharon Richardson Hospice and Aurora Palliative Care. A special thank you to the Aurora Sheboygan Clinic and Terrace Place for their loving care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. All gifts will be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
