Jane Smolinski

Jane F. Smolinski, 63, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. She was born June 20, 1953 in Sheboygan Falls to Russell and Dorothy (Lohr) Vandermus. Jane was a 1971 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School.
On December 26, 1975, she was united in marriage to Harold Smolinski, they were married until 2012.
Jane was the owner of Schmo's Tax Service in Sheboygan. She was a member of Evangelical Free Church, and enjoyed crocheting, traveling, volunteering, and reading. Her fondest memories were of time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her children; Martina (Anthony) Schraven, Andrew (Amanda) Smolinski, Valerie (Yves) Kongolo, and John (Maura) Smolinski, by nine grandchildren; Collin, Lilly, Arianna, Zoe, Emiliese, Dorothy, Thomas, Moses, and Kennedy, by her siblings, Peter Vandermus, Thomas Vandermus, Phillip (Marcia) Vandermus, and Elizabeth (Tony) Gonzales, and by her sister-in-law Julie Vandermus, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Paul.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 5:30 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. Jon MacDonald officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, www.NPCF.us in Jane's name.
