Janet "Skeeter" M. Weiskopf, 68, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born in Sheboygan on May 24, 1947 to Edward and Mary (Savinshek) Schultz. Janet attended Holy Name Grade School and North High School. On September 13, 1969 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Warren Weiskopf.
Over the years Janet worked at Sheboygan Box Company, Walgreens Restaurant, The Grill at Galaxy and Winkle's Café in Sheboygan Falls. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker, and taking care of her family.
Rooted in a deep faith Janet spread love and joy to all who knew her. Some of her fondest memories are of spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, baking desserts and sharing them with family and friends. She looked forward to Saturday afternoon's playing cards with her sisters especially Rap Poker and Rummy 500. At night she enjoyed playing Jeopardy and working on crossword puzzles. Janet was a true lover of nature, the outdoors, and animals. Clint Eastwood and Sam Hunt always put a smile on her face, she was a true fan.
Janet is survived by her husband Warren, daughters, Brenda (Dirk) Schreiber of Sheboygan Falls, and Robin (Jay) Visser of Sheboygan, by grandchildren Alex Mueller and Savannah (Chris) Janssen, great-grandchildren Aiden Jace and Lilia Janet Janssen, by sisters; Rose Marie Moore of San Diego, CA, Helen Rusch of Sheboygan, Vera (Randall) Williams of New Port Richie, FL, Patsy Wolff of Sheboygan, and Mary Ann (Otto) Denk of Sheboygan, also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Delores (Norman) Zimmermann, brother-in-laws; Ed Moore, Hank Rusch, and Roger Wolff, and by her animals; Pebbles, Niki, Tuffy, and Rocky.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aurora Hospice in Janet's name.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses at Memorial Hospital 2K, Dr. Kumar, Kyleen Florez, Dr. Ganju, all the wonderful staff at Vince Lombardi, the nurses with Aurora At Home and Jayne Henke with Aurora Hospice for all of their care, support and comfort.
