Janet M. Woods

Janet M. Woods, 77, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She was born February 15, 1947 in Sheboygan to the late Edward A. and Anna (Billmann) Voigt. Janet graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1965.

On November 2, 1974 she was united in marriage to Thomas D. Woods together they celebrated 24 years. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1998.

Janet was an avid reader; mysteries were her favorite. She also enjoyed taking day trips to the casinos and working crossword and word search puzzles.

Janet is survived by her sisters- in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, great great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends and her furbaby Nugget. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Barbara (Don) Bauer and Karen (Robert) Schulz, and her brother Edward W. Voigt.

A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan.
