Janice Oleson

Janice L. Oleson, age 87, passed away at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice on Monday, July 24th, 2017. She was born on November 30, 1929 in Michigan to the late Earl and Bernice (Seger) Hern. On July 21, 1951, she married Maynard Oleson. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University and retired from Sheboygan County as a social worker.

She is survived by her children; Paul (Kathy) Oleson of Burnsville, MN, Cindy Dross of Sheboygan, Nancy Peterson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Mary (Peter) Jensen of Hartland, WI, Kay Regan of Oostburg, WI, Elizabeth (Mike) Hackett of Wauwatosa, WI, and Victoria (Ken) Sitarz of Carlsbad, CA; Grandchildren: Mitchell, Meghan, Korie, Kimmie, Chris (Julie) Hanahan, Jennifer, Andrew, John, Adam, Jessica, Margaret, Simon, Molly, Madeleine, Sam, and Alison; 5 Great-Grandson and 3 Great-Granddaughters. Further survived by her sisters, Patricia Oleson of Las Vegas, NV and Phyllis McFee of Ypsilanti, MI.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Jean Weaver, and her brother, Bill Hern.

Private family services were held per Janice's wishes.
