Jean Phillips

Jean A. Phillips age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born May 8, 1936 in Marshfield, WI to parents George and Eleanor (Andres) Carolfi. Jean graduated from Stratford High School in 1954. She was united in marriage on June 14, 1958 to Russell Phillips. Jean worked for 29 years at Bemis Manufacturing.
Jean and Russell traveled the world extensively. She enjoyed volunteering, especially at St. Vincent DePaul, Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice. Jean was an avid reader. She loved to take walks and spend time with family.
Jean is survived by her loving husband Russell; six children, Dale (Sally) Phillips, Susan Steinpreis, Dave Phillips, Judy (Rollie) Faust, Lynn (David) Hening and Danny (Stacy) Phillips; eleven grandchildren, Amanda (Nick) Yankunas, Lacey (Ryan) Busse, Cadence (LaJames) Givens, Julie Steinpreis, Dave Phillips Jr., Genevieve (Brian) Bostwick, Rebekah Faust, Jacob Faust, Eric Hening, Emily Hening and Nicholas Bender; ten great-grandchildren, Alex and Kendra Busse, Mahogany, Diane, Rakim, Caron, and Jody Givens,Bianca and Austin Steinpreis and Maddox Phillips; six siblings, Robert (Vi) Carolfi, Shirley (Jerry) Ertl, Marion Weiler, Ruth (Clifford) Hamus, Ken (Sue) Carolfi and Jerome Carolfi. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jane Phillips; brothers; Ronald and Larry Carolfi.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Sheboygan Falls. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Sharon S. Richardson.
